Ferrari duo set early Singapore pace as lizards disrupt first practice session
Charles Leclerc led a Ferrari one-two in an opening practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix disrupted by three lizards. Leclerc ended the one-hour running at the Marina Bay circuit just 0.078 seconds clear of team-mate Carlos Sainz, with championship leader Max Verstappen third. Lando Norris finished fourth for McLaren, 0.172 sec back, while Lewis Hamilton and George Russell took fifth and sixth respectively for Mercedes. But the session was disturbed on several occasions when a lizard walked across the three-mile street venue. Verstappen was the first to report the reptile at Turn 9 midway through the running. “There is a lizard on track again,” said the Red Bull driver, who had a similar encounter here back in 2016. “It is a smaller one this time.” Verstappen’s race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase replied: “Maybe Godzilla has had a kid.” There was a second interruption, and then a third, as yellow flags were deployed. “Another lizard, but a different one this time,” said Russell. Verstappen, who is chasing an 11th straight victory on his waltz to a third world championship, warned on Thursday that Red Bull could be vulnerable at this unique street venue. And the chasing pack, led by Ferrari, will be encouraged that Red Bull did not have it all their own way in the opening running of the weekend. Sergio Perez, who won here last year, finished seventh, ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso. The second running gets under way at 2100 local time (1400 BST). Stylish Wide-Calf Knee-High Boots Are Impossible To Find. These Pairs Are The Exception
The calf circumference on a pair of knee-high boots found in most retailers averages somewhere between 14 and 15 inches. I know this because, at approximately 16.5 inches, my calves are too big to fit in anything readily available on the footwear market.

Mick Schumacher to drive father Michael’s car at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Mick Schumacher will appear at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month, driving his father Michael’s 2011 Mercedes car. Schumacher Jnr. joined the Silver Arrows at the start of this season as an F1 reserve driver, after he was dropped from his race seat at Haas following two seasons with the team. The German has been a regular in the garage at Formula 1 races worldwide alongside CEO Toto Wolff and is eyeing a route back into the sport next year. The 24-year-old tested this year’s W14 car at a Pirelli tyre test earlier this month in Barcelona but will now get another go behind the wheel of his dad’s 2011 car – the W02 – at Goodwood. "It’s going to be spectacular to run in my dad’s 2011 car, the W02, even if it is only a short run,” Schumacher said, ahead of appearing at the festival for the first time. “Just experiencing this generation of cars will be mega. Knowing that he raced this car makes it extra special, and there will be many emotions coming with it. "I have been lucky enough to drive one of his Benetton cars and some of the Ferraris he raced. But this will be the first time behind the wheel of a Mercedes he drove. I am sure I will get out of it with a big smile on my face.” The W02 was Michael’s penultimate car in Formula 1, as he retired a year later at the end of the 2012 season. Schumacher Snr. joined Mercedes in 2010, coming out of retirement after claiming seven F1 world championships, including five-in-a-row with Ferrari from 2000-2004. Fellow Mercedes reserve driver Esteban Gutierrez will also appear at Goodwood, driving Mercedes’ 2021 constructor-winning car – the W12. Also appearing at this year’s Festival of Speed is four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, who will drive in cars exclusively powered by e-fuels. This year’s festival, taking place from Thursday 13 - Sunday 16 July, is the 30th anniversary of the event. I’ve Used Nuuly For Two Years & I’m Not Stopping Any Time Soon — Here’s Why
Just over two years ago on my birthday, my sister surprised me with a gift that I wasn’t too sure about. In my inbox was a year long subscription to Nuuly — a sustainable clothing rental service — but at the time, I really hated clothes. Due to the perfect storm of a wildly fluctuating weight, a meager paycheck, and a long bout of untreated depression, I’d stopped shopping completely and let my entire closet become a few oversized sweaters and threadbare leggings. My sister thought a monthly clothing rental subscription would be a fun, no-strings way to try out some new styles and refresh my closet. But I wasn’t too sure. Still, I charged forward, figuring after I hit my year mark, I’d phase Nuuly out and start purchasing more permanent items for my wardrobe — or I’d be able to go back to my well-loved leggings and sweaters. Well, I just reached year two with Nuuly, and I’m still faithfully renewing my subscription with no end in sight — and here’s why.
