If you thought we were done with flagship smartphone announcements after Apple's iPhone 15 event, you were wrong.
Google is about to get its foot in the door before 2023 concludes with a new Made by Google event, taking place on Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. ET. This is widely expected to be the big showcase for the Pixel 8 phones, given that Google shows off its new phones around this time every year. Even if you can't attend in person, you can catch all the happenings live on Google's YouTube channel.
While we don't exactly know everything about the Pixel 8 yet, there's plenty of info out there via leaks and rumors to digest before the show. Heck, Google even published an official video a few weeks ago showing off the new phones, so we already know what they look like. Big surprise, they look a lot like the Pixel 7. Potential upgrades include a better refresh rate for the base Pixel 8 and a mysterious rumored temperature sensor.
