Of all the locales featured in Shrek – from the kingdom of Far Far Away to the shady Poison Apple tavern – Shrek's swamp is a standout. It was the safe-haven for our grumpy, solitude-loving hero. And now, a few lucky fans have the chance to stay there via Airbnb.
Airbnb has once again recreated a beloved, film-inspired home. You may remember previous endeavours: the house from Bluey, the cottage from Hocus Pocus, the original Home Alone mansion, and even Barbie's dreamhouse have each been replicated to astonishing similarity.
Shrek's swamp appears to be no different. Located in the hills of the Scottish Highlands, Airbnb is offering a cozy, cottage-like oasis surrounded by the mud-covered swampland Shrek was so accustomed to. There are details down to the "earwax candle," a Shrek-like green chair, and even the outhouse that loyal viewers will definitely remember (it's located about 20 metres from the house, Airbnb noted).

Shrek fans couldn't ask for more. Shrek, on the other hand, may wonder what you're doing in his swamp.
