Watch While You Can: Everything Leaving Netflix in November 2023

Every month, Netflix adds lots of new content to its library of films and TV shows. But to make room for the fresh stuff, some of the shows and movies you'd always wanted to watch—and have had in your to-watch list for months or years—suddenly disappear.

That's because Netflix doesn't own all the content it streams. The contracts it has with networks, production companies, and movie studios mean much of that content comes and, unfortunately, goes with startling regularity. So each month, we keep you up to date with a list of what's leaving the service, for Netflix veterans as well as those who are just signing up now. We'll highlight our top choices for what you should view before it's too late; the full list is below.

Loving (Nov. 15)

Based on a true story, Loving takes us back to the segregated 60s and the romance of Richard and Mildred Loving, who bravely challenged Virginia state laws against interracial marriage and took it all the way to the Supreme Court. It seems patently insane that was even a thing! Ruth Negga and Joel Edgerton star as the titular couple, and the Cannes premiere got a five-minute standing ovation.

Disappearance at Clifton Hill (Nov. 29)

This one might have flown under your radar but Disappearance at Clifton Hill is a solid little Canadian noir with some nasty twists. When 7-year-old Abby watches a young boy get kidnapped, it traumatizes her for life. As an adult, she returns to the scene of the crime to investigate the still-unsolved mystery and gets caught up in a lot of bad stuff as a result. The lesson here? Never try to resolve your issues.

The Punisher (Nov. 30)

Netflix's Marvel offerings left the streaming service a while ago, so this isn't the Jon Bernthal series. This version of The Punisher is the 2004 Thomas Jane movie (midway between the Dolph Lundgren one and the Ray Stevenson one) that features John Travolta as the main antagonist. If you're a Frank Castle-head, it might be good to catch this one before the character returns in Daredevil: Born Again.
